College credits are offered by NNU (Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, Idaho) and cost is $120 for 2 credits.
Teachers need to write a three-page essay on what was learned at the APSI and how what was learned will be applied to a lesson.

The College Board is now offering a new AP Participant Grant for AP teachers attending one College Board approved APSI during 2025 and meeting several criteria. Teachers must:
– be teaching an AP course in the 2025-26 academic year
– be teaching at schools where at least 50 percent of the student population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch
– not have any additional sources of funding (for example, state funding) for professional development.

The Oregon APSI has permission from Oregon State University to conduct in-person workshops during the first week of August, 2021 on the Corvallis campus. The workshops will follow the CDC, State and local health regulations with respect to staying safe and minimizing the spread of COVID-19 and variants. Each workshop will have a maximum of 14 participants. Each participant will have 0.255 square meters of work space located 1.42 meters from other participants.
All participants are required to have a COVID-19 vaccine, or present a negative covid-19 test done within 3 days of the start of the institute.
