Agenda – Psychology

Welcome:
I am excited to get to know you and discuss the fascinating world of AP Psychology. I am looking forward to working with you in creating a course that prepares students to write the AP Psychology Exam and to critically think about how deeply these concepts impact their daily lives and perhaps most importantly enjoy our time together. It is my hope to provide you with a satisfying experience and foster discussions that focus on lesson development and the examination of activities and resources. If you have a favourite activity, we will build in some peer sharing time along with other peer mentor-ship opportunities. As a participant you will be fully immersed in enjoyable and fascinating activities viewed from a student perspective to analyze, understand, and immediately use in your classroom and at the end everyone gets a prize!

The schedule below is lean, as it is meant as a guide and considered a general outline. The workshop is intended to be participant driven as we will work together to develop a plan that assists you in getting the most you can out of our time together. You will be provided with a significant number of resources and activities which you can take with you to plan an exciting, interesting, and thorough experience for your students.

A laptop and perhaps an extension cord may be helpful to you.
