Shenita Brazelton is a licensed attorney and Senior Lecturer at Georgia State University located in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a BA from Tuskegee University in political science, a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School, and a PhD in political science from Georgia State University. She has taught U.S. Government and Politics for 12 years. She was a reader for the AP US Government and Politics Exam for several years and subsequently served as a table leader and question leader for the Exam. She has previously served as a member of the AP US Government and Politics Instructional Design Committee and Development Committee.
As the former chair of the Social Sciences Academic Advisory Committee, she sat on the Academic Assembly Council where she provided advice to College Board senior management. She is currently an item writer for the College Board.
