Biography
Matt Brisbin has taught High School English, in McMinnville, Oregon, for the last 19 years. He has 12 years of experience with teaching AP Literature and Composition and has worked as a reader, and more recently a table leader for the AP Literature Exam Reading for 8 years. Matt is currently the department chair of the English Department at McMinnville High School, and has facilitated AP Literature and Composition APSIs around the country for the past few years. He is a Ted X speaker, a regular contributor to the Much Ado About Teaching and #teachlivingpoets blogs, and is also a co-author of the Instructor’s Guide to the high school edition of the 2019 Norton Literature Anthology.
